ABOUT MY PROCESS
I create all of the art in my studio in Annapolis, Maryland. Each of my original mixed media paintings begins as a sketch. I then transfer to the canvas and begin to paint. I use acrylic paints and paint markers as well as a variety of tools including handmade stamps, stencils, decorative and hand painted papers, and more. There are many layers to the creation of each of my mixed media painting. I then seal each piece with satin varnish for protection. The art continues around the sides of the painting so there is no need for a frame.
