Inspired by the animals of the Chesapeake Bay, I have been creating a series of paintings. This one features the whimsical diamondback terrapin on a sandy shore with grasses in the background. This fun little creature would be a wonderful addition to a child's bedroom or gift for a turtle lover.
The diamondback terrapin print is created from my original acrylic painting inspired by the tiny terrapins my children helped raise in school. Each year elementary school students help raise the rare animal to repopulate the Chesapeake Bay.
Prints are created with a high quality scan of my original art. They are printed on archival luster paper with fade resistant inks. The 8 x 10 prints are centered on an 8.5 x 11 paper with a white border. You can also choose to add an optional black mat. The outside edge of the mat is 11 x 14 inches. The mat adds a special touch for gift giving and easy framing. Each print is hand signed by Claudine. Prints are shipped in a plastic sleeve for protection. Frame is not included.
